Houston, TX – Mayoral candidate Chris Hollins was joined by a crowd of supporters in Fifth Ward on Saturday morning for the opening of his campaign headquarters. The office opening was directly followed by a neighborhood block walk to engage nearby residents on key issues ahead of November’s critical mayoral election.
“I’m humbled by the vast support and excitement our people-powered campaign has generated. Our campaign is focusing heavily on grassroots mobilization and an extensive field operation, and the historic small donor fundraising success we’ve achieved thus far proves we’re on the right track,” said Hollins. “I look forward to growing our army of volunteers to lead us to victory by knocking doors and talking to voters from now till Election Day – if we work, we win.”

Hollins made early investments in building a formidable grassroots operation that has hit the ground running. Hollins has a fully operational field team that started knocking doors, phonebanking, and text banking in January. He also amassed the largest army of small donors ever in a Houston mayor’s race, and these donors will continue to make regular contributions throughout 2023.
